Lisbon, Dec. 18, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Thursday, climbing 0.71% to 8,128.00 points, in line with the rest of Europe, with almost all companies in positive territory, notably Mota-Engil, which rose 3.70%.
Of the 16 companies listed on the PSI index, 15 rose, and Teixeira Duarte remained unchanged at €0.66.
Mota-Engil was the company that rose the most today, settling at €4.93, followed by CTT, which rose 1.78% to €7.42.
Semapa (1.43% to €17), NOS (1.42% to €3.94) and BCP (1.28% to €0.88) also rose above 1%, with Jerónimo Martins rising 1% to €20.30.
Galp (0.75% to €14.11), Corticeira Amorim (0.61% to €6.56), Ibersol (0.40% to €9.94), Navigator (0.33% to €3.04) and EDP (0.29% to €3.86) closed with increases of under 1%.
Still growing, but slightly, were REN (0.15% to €3.31), Sonae (0.12% to €1.60), Altri (0.12% to €4.33) and EDP Renováveis (0.09% to €11.69).
The main European markets closed higher on Thursday, with Madrid leading the way, gaining 1.15%, followed by Frankfurt, which rose 1%. Milan recorded a 0.82% increase, Paris 0.80% and London 0.65%.
