Lisbon, Oct. 24, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed on Friday up 0.19% at 8,369.58 points, helped by construction companies, especially Mota-Engil, which rose 2.13%, followed by Teixeira Duarte, with a rise of 0.90%.
Of the 16 companies listed on the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Share Index), nine rose, six fell, and EDP Renováveis remained stable at €13.32.
Mota-Engil and Teixeira Duarte led the gains today, closing at €6.01 and €0.68, respectively.
Also rising were CTT (+0.84% to €7.23), Sonae (+0.70% to €1.44), BCP (+0.69% to €0.79), Corticeira Amorim (+0.55% to €7.34), Ibersol (+0.50% to €10.1), Altri (+0.40% to €5.04) and Galp (+0.03% to €16.92).
The declines were led by REN, which fell -0.32% to €3.12, followed by Semapa, which fell -0.22% to €18.10.
EDP (-0.20% to €4.40), NOS (-0.13% to €3.73), Navigator (-0.13% to €3.07) and Jerónimo Martins (-0.10% to €20.22) also closed lower.
The main European markets closed in positive territory today, with London up 0.70%, Frankfurt 0.13%, Madrid 0.44% and Milan 0.25%. The Paris stock market closed unchanged.
