Lisbon, Aug. 13, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed on Wednesday in positive territory, following gains recorded among its main European counterparts.

In this session, the Portuguese benchmark index, the PSI (Portuguese Share Index) rose 0.06% to 7,759.56 points.

Of the 15 listed companies, nine were in the green, five in the red and REN unchanged at €2.96.

Mota-Engil led the gains with its shares rising 1.68% to €5.44, followed by Sonae with a 1.40% rise to €1.30 and Ibersol with 1.05% to €9.66.

Going in the opposite direction, EDP Renováveis led the declines, falling 1.03% to €9.63, while Altri and Galp fell 0.59% and 0.54% to €5.05 and €16.46, respectively.

In the rest of Europe, Paris rose 0.66%, London 0.60%, Madrid 1.08% and Frankfurt 0.67%.
