TIRANA, August 13/ATA/ The restoration of Butrint National Park enclosure is completed.
The enclosure was designed by architect Gani Strazimiri in the 1960s. After more than two decades without significant interventions, this infrastructure element has been restored to its full functional and aesthetic state.
The process was carried out using original materials and respecting the initial architectural concept. The Butrint National Park said in the social media that this project is not simply a restoration work, but a tribute to the designer's craftsmanship and an investment in protecting the heritage of Butrint for future generations.
The Butrint National Park ranks first among the 5 most visited cultural heritage institutions for the period January-July 2025. According to data provided by Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja, Butrint was visited during these months by 150,178 visitors, both domestic and foreign. /j.p/p.s./
