Luanda, July 8, 2025 (Lusa) - TAAG will launch a new route between Luanda and Nairobi from 1 September, with three weekly flights, strengthening the connection between southern Africa and East Africa, the Angolan airline announced on Tuesday.
In a statement, the carrier highlighted that Nairobi is “an important regional hub and reference point for transit between different regions of Africa, Asia and Europe,” emphasising that Kenya is one of the most dynamic economies on the African continent.
According to TAAG, the direct connection with the Kenyan capital represents a “significant step forward in the expansion of the company’s international network,” offering “competitive advantages in mobility options for passengers, promotion of bilateral business, diplomatic relations, among other benefits.”
With this new connection, TAAG will now fly to more than ten domestic destinations and 15 international destinations, including cities such as Lisbon, Paris, Dubai, São Paulo, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Lagos, Kinshasa, Maputo and Windhoek.
