Lisbon, Jan. 9, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market ended Thursday's session on a high note, with the benchmark PSI index closing up 0.42% at 6,397.95 points, in line with the trend on most European stock exchanges.

Of the 15 listed companies that make up the PSI index, 10 ended the session higher, four lower and one was unchanged.

EDP led the risers, adding 1.83% to €3.12, while BCP fell 1.15% to €0.48.

On the main European stock exchanges, the Madrid index rose 0.86%, London 0.83%, Milan 0.59%, Paris 0.51% and Frankfurt recorded a slight negative variation of 0.06%.
