TIRANA, Oct 21 /ATA/ - Nadia Lamrani, Algeria’s Chargé d'Affaires in Albania, paid a courtesy visit to the Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA) in Tirana on Monday.

The Algerian diplomat was hosted By ATA Director General Valbona Zhupa, who provided an overview of the news agency’s media activity.

The Chargé d'Affaires Nadia Lamrani noted that “Albanian Telegraphic Agency is an important point of reference for the diplomatic mission of Algeria in Tirana.”

“I am impressed by the quality of news stories reported by ATA. ATA reports stand out for clarity, impartiality, and accuracy and particularly for the fact that they help our diplomatic mission in our daily work,” Lamrani highlighted.

On account of this, she urged for enhanced cooperation with ATA through Algérie Presse Service (APS) is Algeria's official news agency.

ATA Director General Valbona Zhupa appreciated Lamrani for her kind words about the news agency she heads, underlining that “they become particularly significant amid the widespread phenomenon of misleading information involving the media nowadays.”
