Lisbon, 25 May 2026 (Lusa) – Portuguese renewable energy producer, Greenvolt, has raised a further €70 million through an additional issue of “green” bonds, the company said in a statement on Monday.
According to the press release, the issue was directed at qualified investors and "strengthens the group’s financial capacity to support its strategy for growth and the development of renewable energy projects".
This additional issue brings the total amount of the Greenvolt 2029 Green Bonds issue to €170 million.
Greenvolt highlights that, in 2025, it had revenues of €777 million and an EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) of €207.8 million.
Net profit last year stood at €5.3 million, compared with a loss of €114.9 million recorded in 2024.
