Lisbon, May 25, 2026 (Lusa) – TAP Air Portugal’s losses fell to €39.9 million in 2026 Q1, a recovery the airline attributes to markets such as South America and North America.
In a statement, the flag carrier highlighted the 11% growth in operating revenue to €914.4 million, driven mainly by increased ticket and improved unit revenue, against a backdrop of capacity growth (+3.9%).
TAP noted that the third-party maintenance segment also contributed significantly, with a 31.8% increase in revenue.
