Lisbon, Jan. 13, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Tuesday, rising 0.77% to 8,559.09 points, with EDP Renováveis and Galp leading the gains, up more than 2%.
Of the 16 companies listed on the PSI index, nine ended the session higher, six lower and one unchanged from Monday.
EDP Renováveis shares rose 2.64%, while Galp Energia shares rose 2.57%.
EDP Renováveis shares rose to €12.78 and Galp Energia shares rose to €16.11.
In third place was Navigator, with a positive variation of 1.47% to €3.314, followed by Semapa, with 1.37% to €22.20.
The variations of the other listed companies that closed higher were less than 1%.
EDP rose 0.91% to €4.099, BCP rose 0.86% to €0.8882, Nos advanced 0.60% to €4.17, Sonae rose 0.24% to €1.66 and Altri recorded a 0.22% increase to €4.575.
Among the falling stocks, the biggest declines were Mota Engil, which fell 2.65% to €4.994, and Teixeira Duarte, which fell 1.61% to €0.612.
Among the companies with declines of less than 1%, REN fell 0.91% to €3.28, CTT fell 0.68% to €7.29, Jerónimo Martins fell 0.66% to €20.98, and Ibersol fell 0.40% to €9.92.
Corticeira Amorim closed the day with its shares unchanged at €6.85.
In the main European markets, the stock market session showed different trends.
London fell 0.03%, Paris fell 0.14% and Milan fell 0.45%.
In contrast, Frankfurt rose 0.06% and Madrid ended with a 0.08% gain.
