Lisbon, Nov. 11, 2025 (Lusa) - Euronext Lisbon has decided to exclude, as of 19 November, the shares of construction company Grão-Pará, which was declared insolvent in September, the market was told.
"The real estate company Grão Pará hereby shares that Euronext Lisbon has disseminated through its channels [...] notice 228/25, informing that the ordinary shares issued by Imobiliária Constritora Grão Pará [...] will be excluded from Euronext Lisbon as of 19 November 2025," reads a statement sent to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
The last trading day for its securities will be 18 November.
The delisting was determined by Euronext because the company was declared insolvent.
Construction company Grão-Pará was declared insolvent by the court around three weeks after it filed for insolvency with the Lisbon District Court on 22 August, after its shareholders unanimously approved the company's insolvency at a general meeting on 23 July.
Over the last 15 years, the construction company has accumulated losses, with the exception of 2024, when it made a profit of €617,724.43.
However, this positive result was due to the reversal of the impairment of the balance of the associate Grão-Pará Agroman.
The company has not operated or carried out any commercial activity for several years and therefore does not generate "any income", according to a note also sent to the CMVM when the general meeting to decide on the company's insolvency was announced.
The company has survived due to loans taken out by Abel Pinheiro (the group's director) and his immediate family, totalling more than €1.5 million.
The Board of Directors' members have been performing their duties free of charge.
The Grão-Pará group comprises Imobiliária Construtora Grão Pará and its associated companies, with activities spanning tourism and real estate.
