Lisbon, Oct. 30, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Thursday, rising 0.73% to 8,446.47 points, driven by Jerónimo Martins, which rose 11.43%, in contrast to the European downward trend.

Of the 16 listed companies that make up the PSI index, eight rose and eight fell in today's session.

The main European markets closed almost all down, with Paris falling 0.53%, Frankfurt 0.02%, Madrid 0.68% and Milan 0.09%. Only London rose, by 0.04%.
