Lisbon, Sept. 26, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Friday, with the PSI index rising 0.49% to 7,953.02 points, in line with the rest of Europe.
Of the 16 companies that are included in the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Share Index), 10 rose, five fell and CTT remained unchanged at €7.29.
Leading the gains was BCP, which rose 2.23% to €0.75.
Also noteworthy were Sonae SGPS, which rose 1.53% to €1.33, Ibersol, which rose 1.20% to €10.10, and Galp, which rose 1.08% to €16.77.
Gains of less than 1% were recorded by NOS (€3.84), REN (€2.95), Semapa (€18.22), EDP Renováveis (€11.33), Navigator (€3.26) and EDP (€4.00).
In the opposite direction, Teixeira Duarte led the declines, falling 2.46% to €0.55, followed by Altri, which fell 1.18% to €5.04.
Jerónimo Martins (€20.36), Mota-Engil (€5.05) and Corticeira Amorim (€7.20) fell by less than 1%.
Elsewhere in Europe, the main indexes in Madrid rose 1.30%, Paris 0.97%, Frankfurt 0.87% and London 0.77%.
