Lisbon, Sept. 1, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Monday, with the PSI index rising 0.65% to 7,810.85 points, following the positive trend in the rest of Europe.

Of the 15 shares which comprise the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Share Index), 11 rose, three fell and CTT remained unchanged at €7.34.

Leading the risers was EDP Renováveis, which advanced 1.69% to €10.21.

Among the main gainers were Sonae SGPS, which rose 1.56% to €1.30 and NOS, which totalled 1.41% more to €3.96.

With rises of less than 1% were Jerónimo Martins (€21.34), Ibersol (€9.60), Galp (€16.70), BCP (€0.73), EDP (€3.81), Semapa (€17.72), Altri (€5.04) and Corticeira Amorim (€7.56).

In the opposite direction, leading the declines was Mota-Engil, which fell 2.27% to €4.94.

With falls of less than 1% were REN (€2.98) and Navigator (€3.31).

In the rest of Europe, Frankfurt rose 0.57%, London 0.10%, Paris 0.05% and Madrid 0.02%.
