Lisbon, July 29, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Tuesday, with the PSI index gaining 0.19% to 7,687.85 points, following the positive trend in the rest of Europe.
Of the 15 companies listed on the PSI, nine rose, five recorded smaller gains and EDP remained unchanged at €3.83.
Leading the gains was Mota-Engil, which rose 2.50% to €4.42.
Among the main gains were Sonae SGPS, which rose 1.28% to €1.26, Corticeira Amorim, which rose 1.06% to €7.66, and BCP, which added 1% to €0.69.
NOS (€3.64), Jerónimo Martins (€21.52), Navigator (€3.13), Galp (€16.92) and Semapa (€17.48) rose by less than 1%.
On the other hand, CTT led the declines, falling 2.38% to €7.38.
Also noteworthy were Ibersol, which fell 1.46% to €9.44, and EDP Renováveis, which fell 1.07% to €10.19.
Altri (€4.81) and REN (€2.99) recorded gains of less than 1%.
Elsewhere in Europe, Frankfurt rose 1.03%, Madrid 0.90%, Paris 0.72% and London 0.60%.
