Temperatures in Greece will remain at very high levels over the coming days. 
According to the updated Emergency Weather Deterioration Bulletin issued by the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (HNMS), the following points are emphasised:

A. Minimum temperatures will remain high, around 28 to 29 ° C, especially in urban centres.
B. From Friday (25/7) noon and on Saturday (26/7), strong northerly winds of 6 to 7 Beaufort will prevail in the eastern regions, particularly over the Aegean Sea.

Mainland Greece: Highs of 39-41 ° C, reaching 42 ° C in parts of Central Macedonia, eastern Central Greece, and the eastern Peloponnese, and up to 43 ° C in Thessaly.

Athens: 39-40 ° C

Thessaloniki: 39 ° C

Eastern Aegean Islands & Dodecanese: 39-40 ° C, locally 41 ° C

Ionian Islands: 36-37 ° C

Crete: 37-38 ° C

2. Thursday (24/7):
Mainland: 39-41 ° C, locally 42-43 ° C in Thessaly, eastern Central Greece, and the eastern Peloponnese

Athens: 41-42 ° C

Thessaloniki: 39-40 ° C

Eastern Aegean & Dodecanese: 39-40 ° C, locally 41 ° C
