In an event that has become the greatest institution for corporate responsibility in the country, Fortune Greece presented the awards for the 'Most Admired Companies in Greece' at a celebration of entrepreneurship at Aigli Yard on Thursday, July 17.
Held for the 11th consecutive year, the awards are the culmination of a process that began with the Fortune Greece survey, conducted in collaboration with KPMG, which is based on Fortune's international criteria and methodology.
In 2025, participation in the voting exceeded all previous records, as more than 2,200 c-suite executives from the 500 companies operating in Greece with a turnover of over 50 million euros participated.
As Anastasia Paretzoglou, Executive Chair of Fortune Greece, stated, among others: "in an era when the international environment is unpredictable, changing, multifactorial and uncertain, corporate reputation is the hardest asset of any company. Today, for a company to be successful, numbers alone are not enough. It requires ethics, resilience, adaptability and a true commitment to people, the environment and society. The companies that stand out tonight have achieved much more than being successful. They have won the trust and respect of employees, suppliers and competitors. Warm congratulations to the 20 most admirable companies of 2025, which as you will see are companies that consistently figure on the list, but also to the new entrants, such as the companies Lamda Development, Chalkiadakis and ION."
The companies that managed to stand out in 2025 from all sectors are: Aegean, Sklavenitis, Papastratos, Coca-Cola Hellenic, Lamda Development, Kaizen Gaming, Metlen, Plaisio Computers, OTE Group, TITAN, MEGA, PPC, Melissa, Barba Stathis, Eurobank, Papadopoulos, Chalkiadakis, ION, Skroutz and Accenture Greece.
In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis congratulated the distinguished businesses and emphasized that the event sends two important messages. "First of all, it reminds us of the importance of entrepreneurship.
Businesses are not just the owners. They are all the employees, the jobs they create and the support to millions of Greeks. We had forgotten their contribution to the development of the country for many years. We have now stopped blaming entrepreneurship and we say clearly that there are no employees without entrepreneurs. There are no investments without investors."
He noted that "the country cannot move forward without a collective effort." Referring to the second message of the event, Hatzidakis noted that "it is not the profitability of businesses that is rewarded. The institution does not stand on the balance sheets of companies but on elements such as modern management, innovation, corporate social responsibility, etc. It focuses on the image of the company but also on its relationship with its employees. This is modern entrepreneurship."
