Arrivals in tourist accommodation establishments amounted to 3,855,399 and nights spent amounted to 15,344,134 in May 2025, recording an increase of 1.94% in arrivals and 1.87% in nights spent when compared to the corresponding month of 2024, according to the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT). 

In May 2025 compared with the corresponding month of 2024, an increase of 2.5% was observed in arrivals and of 2.2% in nights spent for non-residents, while a decrease of 0.6% in arrivals and of 0.9% in nights spent was observed for residents.

The highest contribution in arrivals and in nights spent for the total of tourist accommodation establishments was observed for non-residents with 81.8% and 90.0% accordingly. The average length of stay for all types of tourist accommodation establishments during May 2025, amounted to 4.0 days, ELSTAT added.
