Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Stock market closes with PSI index off 0.47% in line with Europe

Lisbon, June 23, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Monday, with the PSI index falling 0.47% to 7,409.73 points, following the negative trend in the rest of Europe.

Of the 15 companies listed on the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), 11 fell and four rose.

Leading the declines was BCP, which fell 1.81% to €0.65.

Among the main falls were Semapa, which fell 1.10% to €16.20, and EDP Renováveis, which fell 1.02% to €9.70.

With declines of less than 1% were Navigator (€3.26), Jerónimo Martins (€20.92), Altri (€4.86), Mota-Engil (€3.58), Galp (€15.64) and Corticeira Amorim (€7.76), Ibersol (€9.34) and NOS (€3.77).

Going in the opposite direction, REN led the gains, rising 1.31% to €3.10.

With gains of less than 1% were Sonae SGPS (€1.18), EDP (€3.69) and CTT (€7.17).

In the rest of Europe, Paris fell 0.69%, Frankfurt 0.35%, London 0.19% and Madrid 0.08%.
