In May 2025, total beer deliveries (domestic and exports) from factories in Cyprus recorded a significant 4% decrease compared to May 2024, with beer deliveries for domestic consumption dropping by 8%, while exports saw an impressive annual increase of 83.9%.
Specifically, according to data released on Thursday by the Statistical Service, total beer deliveries amounted to 4,497,608 liters, compared to 4,682,575 liters in May 2024.
More precisely, beer deliveries for domestic consumption in May 2025 showed a notable 8% decrease compared to May 2024, falling to 4,115,967 liters from 4,475,044 liters in May 2024.
In contrast, beer exports recorded an impressive increase of 83.9% compared to May 2024, rising to 381,641 liters from 207,531 liters in May of the previous year.
According to the data from the Statistical Service, during the first five months of 2025, total beer deliveries decreased by 2.4%, or by 378,619 liters, reaching 15,422,120 liters compared to 15,800,739 liters in the corresponding period of 2024.
