Lisbon, April 28, 2025 (Lusa) - ANA switched on the emergency generators on Monday, following a general power cut, enabling essential operations in Porto and Faro, but Lisbon with more limitations, an official source from the airport operator told Lusa.

"ANA's airports have activated the emergency generators, which, for the time being, allow the essential airport operations to be maintained at Porto and Faro airports. In Lisbon, operations are ongoing but with limitations. So far, there has been no impact on Madeira and Azores Airports," ANA said.
