Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Stock market closes lower in line with other European bourses

Lisbon, Dec. 30, 2024 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Monday, with the PSI index falling by 0.10% to 6,367.38 points, in line with most of the main European exchanges.

Of the 15 listed companies that make up the PSI, 10 rose and five fell.

Leading the declines was EDP, which fell 1.05% to €3.10.

With falls of less than 1% were Galp (€16.66), Navigator (€3.56), EDP Renováveis (€9.60), Altri (€5.30), Corticeira Amorim (€7.97), Mota-Engil (€2.91), Ibersol (€7.50), Sonae SGPS (€0.91) and Jerónimo Martins (€18.22).

In the opposite direction, leading the gains were CTT, which gained 1.34% to close at €5.30, followed by BCP, which rose 1.04% to €0.47.

With rises of less than 1% were Semapa (€14.06), REN (€2.27) and NOS (€3.33).

In the rest of Europe, Paris fell 0.57%, Frankfurt 0.38% and London 0.35%, while Madrid advanced 0.05%.
