TIRANA, December 26/ATA/ The National Cyber Security Authority has opened the Cyber Security Laboratory, an advanced platform for handling and simulating digital threats.
According to a post in the social media, this laboratory was created to empower cybersecurity experts, providing intensive training in protecting critical infrastructures and facing global technology challenges. From realistic scenarios to innovative technologies such as the “Cyber Escape Room” and simulations between the “Red Team” and “Blue Team”, this laboratory sets new standards for incident response. This is a revolutionary step by Authority to improve cybersecurity in Albania and beyond.
Head of the Authority Igli Tafa stated that the primary goal of this laboratory, within the framework of Albania’s digitalization process, is to absorb new talents.
“Finally, Albania has a cybersecurity laboratory. This is a modern laboratory, similar to laboratories in developed countries of the world, such as those in the USA, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, etc. This laboratory will serve as a training tool for experts, public and private operators in the field of cybersecurity.
“At the same time, this laboratory will also be open to universities, vocational schools and even high schools. The main goal is to absorb talents. This laboratory is the right place where practical training will be carried out using IT, OT technologies, in this entire wide range”, said Tafa./a.f/p.s./
