Damascus, SANA- Abkhazian Foreign Minister Inal Ardzinba held a special political-intellectual dialogue with President Bashar al-Assad, titled “The Global Majority”.
In this dialogue, the Abkhazian Foreign Minister documented President al-Assad’s vision and perceptions of the relationship between the national identity of peoples and the wars that the West ignites in different regions of the world, and the high price that countries and peoples pay for their dignity, as well West’s megalomania, and does the West have true leaders? now?.
The dialogue focused on the role of countries that aspire to the independence of their decisions and sovereignty. These countries constitute the “global majority” facing a group of Western countries, led by the United States.
Al-Assad: The only way to defeat the people is to destroy their national identity
President Al-Assad stated that “all the conflicts unleashed during the last ten years have to do with national identity that must be protected from external influences.”
“The only way to defeat us is to destroy our national identity that includes culture, values and traditions,” Al-Assad stressed.
Al-Assad: The West does not accept friends or partners, it only wants lackeys
President Al-Assad stated that “all the conflicts unleashed during the last ten years have to do with national identity that must be protected from external influences.” opined that “we could be friends of the West, but the West does not accept friends or partners, and only wants lackeys.”
President Al-Assad added that the West deals with people like Zelenzki who only know how to say “yes” and carry out all orders and dictates.
“They love to talk about democracy, however, they can’t stand it when someone tells them ‘No’ because for them democracy is always saying ‘Yes’,” President Al-Assad said.
Al-Assad: Russia did not support the Syrian government but rather the Syrian people and international law
President Al-Assad indicated that multipolarity can be economic or cultural, but the important thing of all is that the world was created diverse.
Regarding Russia’s support for Syria, the president said that “Moscow did not support the Syrian president or the Syrian government because this is an incorrect interpretation, but rather it supported the Syrian people and protected the independence of Syria and therefore protected the international law, which until now still exists on paper.”
It is naive to say that terrorists are local gangs outside the law, but rather they are a global network and are present in Europe, Russia, Indonesia and other regions of the world; with homogeneous ideologies, and Russia has entered into war with terrorism in Syrian territory, and when it protects the Syrians, it is protecting its country, the president explained.
Al-Assad highlighted that “Russia, as a superpower, fights terrorism in Syria and Ukraine, and the enemy is one, and Russia today supports the global balance politically and militarily.”
President Al-Assad criticized Western politics, especially American politics, which is based on the principle of divide and rule. “This is their way of controlling, and it is a kind of blackmail,”.
President Al-Assad added that “the United States turns any conflict into a dangerous chronic disease, like diabetes or cancer, and those who pay the price of the conflict are the parties involved, and when we say the United States we mean the entire West, because the West is completely controlled by USA.”
