Lisbon, June 16, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed in the red on Tuesday, with the PSI falling by 0.26% to 9,022.42 points, weighed down by falls of more than 2% in Semapa and the construction firms Mota-Engil and Teixeira Duarte.
Of the 16 listed companies that make up the national benchmark index, 10 ended the day in negative territory, five in the ‘green’, and Sonae SGPS remained unchanged, trading at €1.97.
On the other major European stock exchanges, the French CAC-40 rose by 0.75%, the Spanish IBEX-35 gained 0.69%, the British FTSE 100 rose by 0.61%, and the German DAX rose by 0.07%.
