TIRANA, May 23/ATA/ Saranda’s maritime boom continues as the port welcomed 30,567 passengers in April 2026—a 52% surge from last year.

Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Sports Blendi Gonxhja highlighted the milestone, cementing the Albanian Riviera as a top tourism and transport destination.

“Passenger numbers reached 52,770 during the first four months of the year, representing a 72% increase year-over-year,” Gonxhja emphasized.

This increase stems from a rise in foreign tourists, expanded maritime travel with Corfu and the booming popularity of the Albanian Riviera. /p.s./
