Istat said Friday that its House Price Index (HPI) was up by 1.0% in the first quarter compared with the previous three months and by 5.2% compared with the January-March period of 2025.
    It said the volume of residential property sales was up 4.4% year-on-year up and by 0.4% with respect to the fourth quarter last year.
