Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Stock market closes lower with almost all companies in the red

Lisbon, April 24, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Friday, with the PSI (Portuguese Stock Index) falling 0.91% to 9,123.76 points and almost all listed companies recording losses.

Of the 16 listed companies included in the PSI, 15 fell and EDP rose 0.09% to €4.53.

Leading the declines was Mota-Engil, which fell 2.59% to €4.67.

Also notable were Navigator, which fell 2.14% to €3.30, Semapa, down 1.99% to €22.20, CTT, -1.80% to €6.29, Teixeira Duarte, -1.56% to €0.41, and EDP Renováveis, -1.10% to €13.53.

Additionally, BCP fell 1.09% to €0.87, Corticeira Amorim -1.06% to €6.53, and Sonae SGPS fell 1.03% to €1.93.

Falling by less than 1% were NOS (€5.61), Jerónimo Martins (€20.50), Galp (€19.20), Altri (€4.88), Ibersol (€11.76) and REN (€3.74).

Elsewhere in Europe, Madrid fell by 1.09%, Paris by 0.84%, London by 0.75% and Frankfurt by 0.11%.
