Lisbon, March 24, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed up on Tuesday, with the PSI (Portuguese Stock Index) rising 1.18% to 8,881.98 points, in a mostly positive Europe.
Of the 16 listed companies in the PSI, 12 rose, three fell and Ibersol remained unchanged at €10.80.
Galp led the gains, rising 3% to €20.92.
Galp has called an ordinary general meeting for 8 May, to vote on a proposal to reduce its capital by up to 9% and distribute €477 million in dividends.
Other highlights in Tuesday's session were Semapa, up 1.67% to €21.35, EDP Renováveis, which added 1.65% to €12.96, Corticeira Amorim, up 1.60% to €6.35, REN, which added 1.49% to €3.76, Sonae SGPS, up 1.41% to €1.87, NOS, which rose 1.33% to €5.32 and Jerónimo Martins, which rose 1% to €20.16. Companies with gains of less than 1% were EDP (€4.33), BCP (€0.81), Navigator (€3.18) and Altri (€4.68). Conversely, Teixeira Duarte led the falls, dropping 1.66% to €0.41.
CTT (€5.95) and Mota-Engil (€4.28) saw drops of less than 1%.
In the rest of Europe, London rose 0.72%, Paris 0.23% and Madrid 0.13%, while Frankfurt fell 0.07%. PE/LYT // Lusa
