Lisbon, March 9, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed on Monday down 0.78% to 8,875.96 points, following the European trend, with NOS falling more than 5%.
Of the 16 companies included in the benchmark PSI (Portuguese share Index), 13 fell, two rose and BCP remained unchanged at €0.81.
NOS was the listed company that fell the most, settling at €5.22, followed by Mota-Engil, which fell 3.09% to €4.58.
Semapa lost 2.49% to €21.55, Teixeira Duarte fell 1.91% to €0.46 and Navigator lost 1.87% to €3.25.
Closing with losses of more than 1% were Ibersol (1.83% to €10.75), REN (1.70% to €3.77), CTT (1.61% to €6.71), EDP (1.23% to €4.19) and EDP Renováveis (1.03% to €12.51).
Corticeira Amorim (0.78% to €6.32), Altri (0.65% to €4.57) and Sonae (0.32% to €1.90) closed slightly lower.
The only companies to rise were oil company, Galp, which advanced 1.93% to €20.07, and retailer Jerónimo Martins, which rose 0.47% to €21.38.
The main European markets also closed lower today, with London down 0.34%, Paris 0.98%, Frankfurt 0.77%, Madrid 0.86% and Milan 0.29%.
