Lisbon, Feb. 10, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Tuesday, with the PSI index falling 0.42% to 8,953.35 points, pressured by construction companies, in a mostly negative Europe.
Of the 16 companies included in the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Share Index), nine rose, six fell and NOS remained unchanged at €4.67.
Leading the declines was Mota-Engil, which fell by 3.53% to €4.92, followed by Teixeira Duarte, which fell by 3.35% to €0.52.
Also noteworthy were index heavyweight, BCP bank, which fell by 2.98% to €0.90, and CTT, which fell by 1.89% to €7.28.
Sonae SGPS (€1.87) and Galp (€17.56) fell by less than 1%.
In the opposite direction, Corticeira Amorim led the gains, rising by 1.46% to €6.96, followed by Altri, which rose by 1.18% to €4.70.
With gains of less than 1% were EDP (€4.35), Jerónimo Martins (€20.56), Ibersol (€11.10), Navigator (€3.34), REN (€3.55), Semapa (€22.75) and EDP Renováveis (€13.30).
Elsewhere in Europe, the main indexes in Madrid fell 0.40%, London 0.31% and Frankfurt 0.11%, while Paris rose 0.06%.
