TIRANA, Jan 29 /ATA/ Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, attended the launch of the "White Book," an event organized by the Foreign Investors Association (FIAA). During the event, she highlighted the significance of this document as a strategic framework for economic policy and fostering cooperation with the business community.
Minister Ibrahimaj emphasized that the "White Book" serves as a key tool for drafting laws and policies based on the recommendations of the business community, ensuring that government decision-making is driven by the real needs of the market and the standards of the European Union.
Minister Ibrahimaj remarked, "This is my second 'White Book,' and I am pleased to contribute to the incorporation of recommendations across various sectors and policy areas into our collective work. The new White Book will serve as a crucial roadmap for the years to come."
She also emphasized that 2025 has marked positive results for the Albanian economy, with increased investments, exports, and employment, as well as a reduction in unemployment and a rise in the number of businesses operating in the country.
Minister Ibrahimaj emphasized that these results demonstrate a favorable climate for business and the resilience of its community.
She also highlighted the challenges for 2026, mentioning the EU integration process, the implementation of planned reforms, and the need for close cooperation with the business community to meet the standards of the European single market.
She informed that the Ministry of Economy and Innovation is working on strategic documents, such as the export program and the industrial program, which will guide the development of economic sectors in line with the EU's industrial policy.
"We will be there to help the business community meet the required standards, increase productivity, and enhance competitiveness. The Albanian and foreign business community will be our main supporters in this journey," added Minister Ibrahimaj.
The event was attended by representatives of local institutions, as well as members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Tirana. /j.p/
