ATA - Albanian economy grew by 3.75% in third quarter of 2025

TIRANA, January 23/ATA/ Minister of Economy and Innovation Delina Ibrahimaj stated today that, “Gross Domestic Product for the third quarter of 2025 grew by 3.75%, a growth rate that is significantly higher than the EU average, but also higher than the average of the region in which we live”.

In a press conference regarding the analysis of the latest economic data, Ibrahimaj said that, “This means that the economy during the last years of the post-pandemic period has experienced sustained growth, holding within a steady, moderate range of 3.5% to 4%. Meanwhile, we are living in a period of profound geopolitical volatility and as a matter of fact the main macroeconomic indicators of Europe reflect this uncertain situation”.

Ibrahimaj noted that, "Prices are a key element of macroeconomic stability. The inflation price indicator throughout 2025 has increased by 2.2%, a rate that is within the 3% limit of the Bank of Albania. This means that prices have increased in line with the potential of the Albanian economy, that is, they have increased in a healthy way." /k.s/a.f/p.s./
