ANNABA - The management of the Annaba Mediterranean Film Festival announced, in a statement on Sunday, the opening of films registration to participate in the sixth edition of the festival from 8 January to 28 February 2026, through the official digital platform FilmFreeway.
The statement said that participation in this cinematic event, which has become a prominent cultural lanmark on both a national and Mediterranean scale, will include feature and short films as well as documentaries produced in the countries of the Mediterranean basin and beyond.
This sixth edition aims to attract qualitative cinematic productions that align with the artistic identity of the festival and reflect the diversity of the Mediterranean innovative experiences, with a focus on supporting the artworks that address contemporary human and cultural issues, the statement added.
The Annaba Mediterranean Film Festival continues to strengthen its international openness and consolidate its position on the global film festival map, along with its contribution to reinvigorating the cultural scene while establishing a platform for film discourse and professional knowledge-sharing between filmmakers, producers, and cinema practitioners, according to the statement.
The festival administration called on all filmmakers, producers and distributors to submit their works within the specified deadlines, noting that the next edition will be rich and distinguished in term of schedule, content and organization.
