TIRANA, Dec 21 /ATA/ The 64th RTSH Song Festival drew to a close on Saturday evening, with Alis announced as the winner for the song ‘Nan.’ Inis Neziri came in second, while Sheila came in third. With this achievement, Alis will represent Albania at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. ‘Nan’ secured 152 points in total—68 from the jury and the remainder from public SMS voting.
The fourth and final night of the festival brought 23 singers to the stage, alongside special guests. Among them was Bleona Qerreti, beloved by the Albanian public, who electrified the audience with her timeless hit ‘Lërmëni.’ The organizers had surprises in store for both the audience in the hall and those watching on television. Another highlight of the evening was the heartfelt duet between two giants of Albanian pop, Elsa Lila and Aleksandër Gjoka. After their stirring performance, they expressed gratitude to the fans for their unwavering support. ‘It is thanks to you that we artists exist,’ Elsa Lila said after singing ‘Vibracione.’”
Other guests included the members of the group ‘Shkodra Elektronike,’ who presented their new piece, ‘Fosforon.’ Another highlight of the 64th RTSH Song Festival was the participation of special guest Tommy Cash, the Estonian singer, who energized the stage of the Palace of Congresses with his global hit ‘Espresso Macchiato.’ At the end of his performance, Tommy Cash promised the audience that he would return for a longer stay and to give a full concert.
