Lisbon, Dec. 15, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Monday, with the PSI index advancing 0.92% to 8,075.16 points, with civil constructor Teixeira Duarte standing out, growing almost 6%.
Of the 16 companies listed on the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Share Index), 11 rose, three fell, and Navigator and CTT remained unchanged at €3.04 and €7.30, respectively.
Leading the gains was Teixeira Duarte, which rose 5.92% to €0.68.
Also noteworthy were fellow civil constructor Mota-Engil, which rose 2.91% to €4.88, Galp, which rose 2.40% to €14.30, BCP, which rose 1.31% to €0.86, Jerónimo Martins, which rose 1.16% to €20.00, and REN, which added 1.09% to €3.26.
Gains of less than 1% were recorded by EDP (€3.79), Ibersol (€9.96), EDP Renováveis (€11.84), NOS (€3.82) and Altri (€4.30).
In the opposite direction, Corticeira Amorim led the declines, falling 1.06% to €6.54.
Semapa (€17.16) and Sonae SGPS (€1.61) fell by less than 1%.
Elsewhere in Europe, the main benchmark indexes in Madrid rose 1.11%, London 1.06%, Paris 0.70% and Frankfurt 0.18%.
