Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Benchmark flat at close of Monday trading on stock market

Lisbon, Nov. 24, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed slightly down on Monday, 0.04%, at 8,052.29 points, with retailer Jerónimo Martins losing 2.41%, on a day of unclear trends in Europe.

Of the 16 companies included in the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Share Index), 10 fell and six rose.

The declines were led by Jerónimo Martins, which closed today's session with its shares worth €21.04. It was followed by Ibersol, which fell 1.92% to €10.2, and Galp, which fell 1.66% to €17.21.

Also falling were Corticeira Amorim (1.35% to €6.58), NOS (0.54% to €3.66), Sonae (0.54% to €1.47), Navigator (0.48% to €2.92), Altri (0.45% to €4.41), REN (0.15% to €3.31) and CTT (0.14% to €7.06).

In the other direction, BCP rose 2.02% to €0.80, followed by EDP Renováveis, which advanced 1.51% to €11.46.

EDP (0.61% to €3.78), Teixeira Duarte (0.30% to €0.68), Mota-Engil (0.16% to €4.99) and Semapa (0.12% to €16.34) also closed higher.

The main European markets closed today with an undefined trend. Frankfurt rose 0.64% and Madrid 0.92%. London closed down 0.05%, Paris fell 0.29% and Milan fell 0.85%.
