Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Lisbon Stock market accompanies Europe, falls 1.55%

Lisbon, Nov. 18, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market followed the trend of the rest of Europe today, falling 1.55% to 8,118.98 points, with almost all the shares closing the session down, led by Mota-Engil, which lost 3.75%.

Of the 16 listed companies that make up the PSI index, 14 fell, only one rose, and Ibersol remained unchanged at €10.45.

Mota-Engil, which today announced that it had recorded profits of €92 million up to September, a 20% increase year-on-year, after the market closed, was the stock that fell the most, standing at €5.52.

Altri (2.46% to €4.56), BCP (2.38% to €0.79), EDP Renováveis (2.23% to €11.39) and Galp (2.03% to €18.06) all fell more than 2%.

Semapa (1.94% to €17.20), Jerónimo Martins (1.57% to €21.30), EDP (1.22% to €3.79) and Navigator (1.13% to €2.97) closed down more than 1%.

With smaller falls were CTT (0.98% to €7.10), NOS (0.68% to €3.66), Teixeira Duarte (0.57% to €0.70), Sonae (0.42% to €1.42) and REN (0.30% to €3.35).

The only listed company to rise today was Corticeira Amorim, which advanced 0.47% to €6.45.

The main European markets closed today with falls of more than 1%. London fell 1.27%, Paris 1.86%, Frankfurt 1.74% and Madrid 2.14%.
