ANSA - Sep industrial production up 2.8% mt-on-mt,1.5% yr-on-yr But Q3 down 0.5% on Q2 says Istat

The seasonally adjusted index of industrial production is estimated to have increased 2.8% in September compared to August, Istat said Wednesday.
Adjusted for calendar effects, it increased by 1.5% compared to September 2024 (there were 22 working days compared to 21 in September 2024).

Istat noted a positive trend across all major industrial groupings.
However, the average level of production in the third quarter decreased by 0.5% compared to the previous three months.
