Lisbon, Nov. 6, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Thursday, with the PSI index falling 1.26% to 8,376.71 points, penalised by EDP's more than 6% decline after the group presented its results.
Of the 16 listed companies that make up the PSI, six rose, seven fell and three, Ibersol, Jerónimo Martins and Nos, remained unchanged at €10.1, €22.14 and €3.67, respectively.
Leading the falls was EDP, down 6.45% to €4.11, after the company revealed on Wednesday that it made a profit of €952 million in the first nine months of the year, down 12% on the same period in 2024.
The subsidiary EDP Renováveis, which had profits of €107 million between January and September, 49% less than in the same months of 2024, fell 4.60% to €12.45.
Among the devaluations in today's session, Corticeira Amorim, which fell 1.77% to €6.65, Teixeira Duarte, which lost 1.72% to €0.68 and Mota-Engil, which fell 1.62% to €5.77, also stood out.
On the other hand, the top gainers were CTT, which added 4.55% to €7.59, as well as BCP, which advanced 1.86% to €0.79 and Navigator, which rose 0.46% to €3.05.
In the rest of Europe, the day was also mostly negative. London fell 0.42%, Frankfurt 1.31% and Paris 1.36%, while Madrid rose 0.12%.
