Champions Napoli remain top of Serie A despite being held to a goalless draw by Como at home on Saturday after AS Roma lost 1-0 to AC Milan at San Siro on Sunday, with Strahinja Pavlovic scoring the only goal of the game.
Paulo Dybala failed to convert a late penalty for Roma, who are among three teams on 21 points from 10 games, one point fewer than Napoli.
The other two are Milan and Inter, who won 2-1 at Hellas Verona on Sunday thanks to a last-gasp own goal by Verona's Martin Frese.
Bologna are fifth with 18 points after winning 3-1 at Parma.
Sixth-placed Juventus also have 18 points after beating promoted Cremonese 2-1 on Saturday in their first match under new coach Luciano Spalletti.
