Lisbon, Nov. 3, 2025 (Lusa) - The Secretary of State for Digitalisation, Bernardo Correia, announced on Monday that the government aims to have "100% of state services digitalised by the end of the parliamentary term", bringing the previous forecast forward by a year.
'Our goal is to have 100% of state services digitised by the end of the parliamentary term,' said the government official, who was speaking at a joint hearing in the parliamentary committees on State Reform and Local Government and on Budget, Finance and Public Administration, as part of the special assessment of the draft law on the State Budget for 2026.
"It will certainly be a Herculean task, but that's what we're here for," he added.
The Secretary of State reiterated that the government would make "every effort" to ensure that the Portuguese and companies "can access all state services without having to physically go to a counter".
