Kevin De Bruyne is set for a long spell on the sidelines after Napoli said Monday that the Belgium midfielder suffered a serious injury to the hamstring muscle in his right thigh in the Serie A champions 3-1 win over Inter on Saturday.
    De Bruyne pulled up after converting the penalty that put Napoli on the way to victory.
    After being substituted and getting treatment, he returned to the bench on crutches.
    The club said Monday that tests confirmed that the injury was serious, adding that the "player has already started the rehabilitation process."
