NNA - French writer and illustrator Marc Boutavant was a guest of the Sanayeh National Library to participate with his audience in the "Grand Atelier Jeunesse" (Great Youth Workshop) as part of the third edition of the "Beirut Books" literary festival, organized by the French Institute in Lebanon.

Marc Boutavant began his meeting with the audience, composed of children of all ages from all over Lebanon, with a detailed explanation of the process.

The main feature of this workshop was the spontaneity and direct interaction between the audience and him. As soon as he told a story, he translated it into a cartoon. The children then quickly drew the gist of the story on paper and matched it with the image drawn by Marc Boutavant.
