Lisbon, Oct. 21, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed in the red on Tuesday, with the PSI index falling 0.64% to 8,272.22 points, on a day when Teixeira Duarte fell 5% and Mota-Engil fell 3%.
Of the 16 listed companies that make up the PSI, 13 fell and three rose.
Leading the losses were shares in the construction sector: Teixeira Duarte fell 5.28% to €0.65, while Mota-Engil fell 3.68% to €5.76.
Also notable among the falls were the devaluations of Semapa, which lost 2.10% to €17.68, Sonae, which fell 1.70% to €1.38, and Jerónimo Martins, which fell 1.27% to €20.28.
At the other end of the spectrum were Galp Energia, which rose 0.79% to €16.04, Corticeira Amorim, which added 0.14% to €7.21, and EDP, which gained 0.13% to €4.45.
The subsidiary EDP Renováveis fell 0.52% to €13.38.
In the rest of Europe, Paris rose 0.64%, London 0.25% and Frankfurt 0.29%, while Madrid fell 0.39%.
