Lisbon, Aug. 29, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market ended the last session of the week in the red, following the negative trend experienced by its main European counterparts, penalised by the fall of the EDP family.
The PSI fell 0.55% to 7,760.08 points, and of the 15 listed companies that make up the index, nine fell, three rose and three (Altri, Corticeira Amorim and REN) remained unchanged.
Among the falls, the EDP family stands out: subsidiary EDP Renováveis fell 1.95% to €10.04, while the parent company fell 1.17% to €3.79.
Also noteworthy were BCP, which fell 0.66% to €0.72, and Galp Energia, which fell 0.12% to €16.60.
Gaining ground were Jerónimo Martins, which rose 0.48% to €21.14, NOS, which appreciated 0.13% to €3.90 and Mota-Engil, which advanced 0.10% to €5.06.
In the rest of Europe, London lost 0.32% and Frankfurt 0.57%, while Madrid fell 0.90% and Paris 0.76%.
