Lisbon, Aug. 27, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed on Wednesday with slight losses, with the PSI falling 0.36% to 7,816.16 points, on a day when Mota-Engil lost 1.73% after presenting results to the market.

Of the 15 listed companies that make up the national benchmark index, 12 closed in negative territory and only three in positive territory.

On the other mai n European stock exchanges, the day was also generally negative, with the Spanish IBEX-65 falling 0.65%, the German DAX losing 0.44% and the British FTSE 100 down 0.11%. In contrast, the French CAC-40 rose 0.44%.
