TIRANA, Aug 25 /ATA/ During the January-June period, fruit and vegetable exports increased by 10% compared to the same period last year. 

The news was announced today by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, who emphasized that 169,042 tons of high-quality, fresh fruits and vegetables were exported during these months. 
“The lands of Albania have transformed into a source of premium Made in Albania products that guarantee a stable supply and position our country as a strong competitor in prestigious international markets, showcasing the commitment and empowerment of our farmers,” the minister said. 
Specifically, in the first six months of this year, 169,042 tons of fruits and vegetables were exported, compared to 153,987 tons exported in the first six months of 2024.
