TIRANA, August 14/ATA/ Business representatives and citizens of Tirana can check their local obligations in real time through the electronic service “Local taxes – Tirana Municipality” on the unique government portal e-Albania.

Until now, this service was mainly oriented towards businesses, but it has now been extended to citizens who own commercial units or other assets used for economic activity.

This service gives users the opportunity to have direct and real-time access to the updated value of their local obligations, including penalties for late payments.

From building, land and agricultural land taxes, to cleaning fees, signboard fees or use of public spaces, each obligation is displayed in detail by year, amount and installment.

In addition to transparency on obligations, the service “Certificate of liquidation of local taxes – Tirana Municipality” also offers the opportunity to download the relevant document that the entity has no obligations to the Tirana Municipality.

This certificate may be required for various legal, administrative or commercial procedures and is now obtained immediately, without the need to physically appear at the counter.

The services do not require any accompanying documentation, the procedure is carried out with just a few clicks and the information is accessible from any device with internet access. Users can download unpaid obligations in the form of a collection mandate at any time, or the confirmation of the liquidation of these obligations, saving time and avoiding bureaucracy.

With this expansion, the Directorate of Local Taxes and Tariffs in the Municipality of Tirana aims to simplify procedures, increase transparency and offer both businesses and citizens a practical tool to manage their local obligations and provide the necessary documentation in real time. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
