Lisbon, Aug. 12, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed on Tuesday on positive ground, following the gains recorded among its main European counterparts, driven by gains of over 1% by Galp and Mota-Engil.
The Portuguese Share Index (PSI) benchmark rose 0.13% to 7,754.94 points, although only six of the 15 listed companies remained in the green, with NOS unchanged at €3.77 and the rest falling.
Among the gains, Galp Energia stood out, rising 1.63% to €16.55, Mota-Engil advanced 2.10% to €5.35 and BCP gained 0.31% to €0.77.
On the downside, Navigator fell 0.91% to €3.26, Altri lost 0.78% to €5.08, and REN fell 0.17% to €2.96.
EDP also fell 0.84% to €3.66, unlike its subsidiary EDP Renováveis, which rose 0.10% to €9.73.
In the rest of Europe, Paris rose 0.71% and London 0.20%, while Madrid progressed 0.02%. Frankfurt remained in negative territory, falling 0.23% in this session.
